About Pastor Stitch

In 2018 God finalized my calling to ministry as a pastor and clarified his desire for me to plant a new church that is geared to the biker and recovery communities.

“Sissy” (my wife) and I found ourselves in uncharted territory. As we were seeking guidance from God, He brought Pastor Joker from Narrow Path Church in East Point Michigan into our lives and provided much needed support and direction. Joker asked us to plant the church under the Name “Narrow Path Christian Church BC” NPCBC for short. The “BC” can stand for Bay City or Biker Church

Background:

I am in recovery for alcohol and sexual integrity issues and have found that the process of recovery is exactly what the bible describes as sanctification. I am grateful for the many ways that God has been able to teach me these lessons. One of the places God moved in a major way in my life, was through the Ministry of Celebrate Recovery®. It was in Celebrate recovery we (Sissy and I) found our Brotherhood “Broken Chains JC ©”  where the mission statement is: “Bikers and bike enthusiasts who have found healing in Jesus Christ through the process of Christ centered recovery, helping others to realize that change is possible”

MY Mission:

In 2020 as the world was locking down from the Covid Pandemic and we as a people were losing our connection with each other. I started doing a daily video devotional with the intent to keep our local community connected. This soon grew outside of our local community, I learned that many were watching every day from all over the country.

The mission is to share the word of God from my perspective (probably a little off from traditional) every day @BikerDevotional on facebook and the Pastor Stitch YouTube channel, and make myself available to personally share Recovery and Brotherhood wherever God calls. You might say “Have Motorcycle will travel ™” is my motto (unless there is ice on my driveway then I will take the cage, LOL).

I love to Share the message that the Church is Recovery and all of us are Broken and in need of a process to become trustworthy.

The Gospel is so much bigger than someday and it is my purpose to be not only a part of the process of training others, but to Go out and be a part of the harvest.

My daily prayer is to be used (metaphorically) during the day to be a harvester and in the evenings to train those that were part of the daily harvest to become harvesters the next morning.
Living the Kingdom life NOW is the true message of my Savior Jesus Christ.
